Sarafossen waterfall is one of the biggest waterfalls in Reisa Valley. It is created by the small river Saraelva, which falls about 80 meters down to the impressive, deep, narrow canyon near the settlement of Saraelv.
By the main view point (see the map below), you will find a very nice camping spot, where you can spend a day or even a night by the fire in breathtaking nature.
TOUR DESCRIPTION
Sarafossen is easily accessible from the visibly marked parking place by the main road going through Reisadalen, which is located just about 900 m before Saraelv settlement. From the parking lot, it is about 20–30 minutes of sometimes steep walking through the forest towards the edge of the impressive Sarafossen Canyon.
