KRONEBUTIKKEN

Kronebutikken is an original early-1900s trading post at Høeghvollen in Sørkjosen, preserved with its traditional layout and interior. It offers visitors a clear look at local store culture from the period.

Today, it serves as a shop and workshop with locally made handicrafts, regional food items, and products tied to Sámi, Kven, and Norwegian traditions. The on-site workshop, run by artisan Hilde Marie Lund, allows guests to see traditional techniques and purchase handmade or custom-made pieces. Located next to the Nord-Troms Museum area.

Kronebutikken is a practical stop for tours focusing on cultural heritage and local craftsmanship. During summer, simple outdoor refreshments are available.
