MIDNIGHT SUN

MIDNIGHT SUN

Like the Northern Lights in winter, the midnight sun is a phenomenon that you find only in the Arctic. Experience days that never end.

GOOD TO KNOW

The midnight sun in Reisa lasts every year from May 20th to July 22nd. During this period, the sun does not set behind the horizon and is always visible. Midnight sun, also known as polar day, is a natural phenomenon that occurs in the summer months in places north of the Arctic Circle. When the midnight sun is seen in the Arctic, the sun appears to move from left to right. It is really hard to sleep when it is happening.

Any activity in the soft yellow sunlight creates a fairytale-like atmosphere. For people from the south, it is something truly special and magical.
